Emily Blunt is a British actress who has appeared in a number of films, including The Devil Wears Prada (2006), The Young Victoria (2009), Edge of Tomorrow (2014), and The Girl on the Train (2016). Blunt was born on February 23, 1983, in Roehampton, South West London, England, to Joanna Mackie, a former actor and teacher, and Oliver Simon Peter Blunt, a barrister. He is the second of four children. Major General Peter Blunt was her grandfather, and Crispin Blunt is her uncle. Emily attended Ibstock Place School, a co-ed private school in Roehampton, where she received a challenging education. Emily Blunt, on the other hand, has had a stammer since she was eight years old.
